Small Acts of Kindness make a BIG ROAR! Now in it’s 6th Year, Little Lion Challenge Day is an opportunity to celebrate being kind. Join thousands from across the world as they perform a random act of kindness. Little Lion Challenge was founded by Heather and Patrick Walsh (from (cool) progeny) in honor of their son, Brennan. Brennan was born with a rare birth defect that required 111 days in a neonatal intensive care unit, several surgeries, and a tracheostomy. During that time, it was the little roars — small progresses he made each day and the small acts of kindness — that made all the difference to their family. As a way of saying thanks to all of those who helped them, they established Little Lion Challenge. He’s now a smart, funny, precocious, speedy, empathetic, lego-loving soon-to-be-6 kid! And there is no better way to celebrate than by putting a little love back into the world.
There is no cost to participate. All you have to do is an act of kindness on February 11th and post what you did on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #LittleLionChallenge. (Photos or video are even better!). You can then visit LittleLionChallenge.org or (cool) progeny and see all of the kindness happening in real time! It’s as simple as that.
