This spring, your kiddos can learn all about pollinator power while park-hopping at Maryland’s favorite state parks!

The Maryland Park Service kicks off Park Quest 2022 on May 1st. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the popular program, which offers “quests” that engage families while they visit parks across the state. Visit and explore Maryland’s state parks and complete as many of the Park Quest activities as you can before October 31. If your family (aka your Park Quest Team!) completes 12 or more quests, you can be entered into the Park Quest Prize Drawing! All materials are available online and families can download and print the Park Quest 2022 passport booklet at home. Participation in the program is FREE; however, park day-use charges apply to everyone. (This might be a really great time to purchase an Annual State Park and Trail Passport for your family; it’s just $75 for Maryland residents and is valid for a full year from the date of purchase).

Quest activities on this year’s passport will have the whole family buzzing… as all challenges revolve around pollinators! There will also be a special bonus event quest opportunity every month. This will allow your team an opportunity to complete extra quests and activities at special events across Maryland in State Parks. Please note that some events may have fees. Look for more details in the Park Quest newsletter and posted online.
