Celebrate imagination with Enoch Pratt Free Library in April!

Pratt Library is bringing back their month-long celebration of creativity and it kicks off April 1. Join them for in-person and virtual events, performers and special guests, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, and more — specifically designed for the 0-5 crowd. Programs and activities, which invite children to explore self-expression and their unlimited potential, are inspired by the book What Will You Be? by Yamile Saied Méndez.

Here’s how to join in the festivities…

Read the Book

First step? Read the book that inspired the celebration! What Will You Be? is the story of a a young girl who dreams about all the endless possibilities, sparking a sense of wonder, curiosity, and growth. With her abuela’s loving guidance, she learns her potential is limitless. Yamile Saied Méndez’s powerful, lyrical text and Kate Alizadeh’s colorful, stunning art are a radiant celebration of family, love, and community. Borrow the book from your favorite Pratt Library location or go on a story walk outside the Canton Library branch.
