The Reginald F. Lewis Museum is hosting FREE Weekend @ The Lewis on February 26th and 27th!

It’s the perfect opportunity to experience their Men of Change: Power, Triumph, Truth exhibit, which opened February 11th. “The exhibit profiles the revolutionary men—including Muhammad Ali, James Baldwin, Ta-Nehisi Coates, W.E.B Du Bois, and Kendrick Lamar—whose journeys have altered the history and culture of the country. The achievements of the men are woven within the legacy and traditions of the African American journey—achievements of excellence in spite of society’s barriers.”  Men of Change was developed by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) and made possible through the generous support of the Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services.

Also on display is the high school juried art exhibition: Changemakers. Maryland students from all 24 school districts were eligible to submit artwork for the annual show, which is on display through May 8, 2022.

Note that when you arrive at the museum, you will be able to request a timed pass for Men of Change based on availability.
