One silver lining of the pandemic is that families have access to amazing, live performances — right in your living room — from places you can’t easily drive to every weekend.  One you should definitely add to your watch list? Manhattan’s Symphony Space’s Just Kidding matinee series!

It feels like hundred years ago, but when we took Lilaon a Big Apple adventure one January when she was an only child (read: really little), we made sure to see a toddler-friendly show at Symphony Space. Symphony Space is a performing arts center on the Upper West Side and their award-winning Just Kidding series provides really wonderful, kid-friendly concerts and shows. (Think WTMD’s Saturday Morning Tunes but in a smaller, up-close-and-personal venue!). Recess Monkey was performing that day and the morning concert kicked off our day of hot totspot hopping.

But you don’t have to make a Big Apple trek to see a performance…

Skip the cab hailing and subway hopping and make plans for front-row seats! These (cool) Just Kidding shows are being streamed live and direct to you from the Leonard Nimoy Thalia theater in New York City…FOR FREE!
