Tall Ships in Annapolis for July 4th Weekend
July 2 – July 4
Annapolis City Dock

The Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park (AMM), National Park Service – Chesapeake Chapter, and the City of Annapolis invite Tall Ships to Celebrate the re-opening of Annapolis. Ships include: Tall Ship, Providence Pride of Baltimore, and AMM’s historic skipjack Wilma Lee. Enjoy a welcome party on Friday at Susan Campbell Park on City Dock, with All-American brass band and Welcome Remarks and Sea Scout Ship 1959 – Seafarers. There will be dockside tours and public sails on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (ticketed event!). And there will be topside views for fireworks on July 4th! MORE

Catonsville 4th of July Celebration

2021 marks the 75th year that the Catonsville community has come together to celebrate Independence Day! This year’s celebration includes the 4th Annual CRTT Bike Ride to Ft. McHenry, kids games at Catonsville High School, a Christian Temple Concert, parade (including community kids on decorated bikes), a family fun fest, and fireworks. MORE

Sykesville Let Freedom Ring Parade

Head over to Sykesville and join the town for another year of the Sykesville Let Freedom Ring Parade on July 3rd. The parade starts at 10am, showcasing floats, marching bands, vehicles, and walking units. They can’t wait to celebrate Fourth Of July with you on Main Street. MORE

Kingsville Independence Day Parade
Saturday, July 3 | 10 AM

The Kingsville Independence Day Parade is a grass-roots effort to honor America’s freedoms and to provide a wholesome, family-friendly way to celebrate the holiday. A typical day at the Parade begins at the triangle formed by the intersection of Belair, Jerusalem and Bradshaw Roads with a pre-parade show featuring various local musicians, dancers, clowns and others. The Parade itself begins with the presentation of the colors, the Pledge of Allegiance and the playing of the Star Spangled Banner. MORE

Oregon Ridge Nature Center

The natural world is teeming with colors, so let’s get out and explore the park in search of our national colors in nature! Adults and children 3+. $3 per person (FREE for ORNCC Members). Register in advance. MORE

Bel Air Independence Day Parade & Fireworks
July 4 | All Day
Downtown Bel Air

Spending the day in Bel Air, Maryland, on Independence Day! From dawn to dark, they promise you will experience a clean, lively community and a progressive spirit. Professional and service organizations, churches, museums, historic landmarks and schools are concentrated in our town, which is also the county seat of Harford County. The Bel Air July 4 Parade is one of the largest in the state, and features floats, bands, marching units, car clubs, notables, Beauty Queens, Volunteer Fire Companies and much, much more. The bike rodeo is at 11 AM, the parade begins at 6 PM, and fireworks will begin around 9:30 PM. MORE

Havre de Grace Independence Day Parade and Fireworks
Sunday, July 4 | 2 PM – 4:30 PM, Fireworks at 9:30 PM
Downtown Havre de Grace

The Havre De Grace parade will progress down Union Avenue starting at 2:00 p.m. There will be concerts at Hutchins Park and Concord Point Park starting at 5:00 p.m. Fireworks will cap off the night over the Susquehanna River starting at about 9:30 p.m. MORE

Fourth of July Fireworks on the Lakefront
Sunday, July 4 | 3 PM – 10 PM
Columbia Lakefront

4th of July is back! Join Howard County Recreation & Parks, Columbia Association, and Inner Arbor Trust for a festive 4th at the Lakefront. The party starts at 5 p.m. with live music from Pebble to Pearl, followed by Groovilicious, at the Lakefront stage. MORE

Hereford Independence Day Parade & Fireworks
Sunday, July 4 | 6 PM – 9:30 PM
Hereford High School

Lots of fun and excitement for everyone! The parade through downtown Hereford will start at 6:00 pm. Followed by a festival featuring vendors, crafts, bands, performers, and food at the Hereford High School. To close the night at Dusk, they will have Fireworks! MORE

Independence Day Concert & Fireworks in Havre De Grace
Sunday, July 4 | 7:30 PM – 10 PM
Concord Point Park

Concord Point Park Concert Patriotic music performed by the Maryland Military Band. Free. No tickets required. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Food and drink available for purchase. Fireworks shot from a barge directly in front of this location, starting at approximately 9:30 p.m. MORE

Independence Day Concert & Fireworks in Annapolis
Sunday, July 4 | 8 PM – 10 PM
Annapolis City Dock

The United States Naval Academy Band will perform patriotic music followed by the Blues & Gold at the Annapolis City Dock on Sunday evening, July 4th at 8:00 p.m. The music will proceed the traditional Annapolis July 4th fireworks display. This event is free and open to the public. MORE
