Did you know your favorite destination for apple cider donuts in Parkville (Weber’s Cider Mill Farm) also has a pick-your-own farm in Glen Arm? While the PeachBerry Farm doesn’t have regular hours, they do make announcements on Facebook and on the Weber’s Cider Mill Farm website about upcoming pick-your-own sessions. Pearlstone Retreat Center’s pick your own certified-organic strawberry field open to the general public and their retreat center guests. Strawberry picking is a short window of a couple weeks from late May to early June. Pack a lunch and a blanket so you can relax, picnic, and play! Picking hours, during the season, are 10am-6pm on weekdays and 10am-4pm on weekends/holidays. Pick-your-own fields are closed on Saturdays and Jewish holidays. Baugher’s Orchard is offering pick-your-apples from 9 AM –5 PM every day in June. Hours switch to 9 AM – 5 PM, Friday – Saturday in July.. Located three miles west of Westminster, Baugher’s is a ffarm haven for kids.
