Bits and Bobs Baltimore is back this weekend — with two new pint-sized vendors!

What is Bits and Bobs? A pop-up shopping experience featuring local makers and vendors. Their April 17th Spring Pop-Up will be held at B. C. Brewery from 12 PM – 4 PM. Over 50 local artisans will be featured at the outdoor, socially responsible event —  including kid vendors Olivia’s Bracelets and Braids and Sunshine Street Young Artists.

Olivia, an elementary school student, is the mini-maker behind Olivia’s Bracelets and Braids. You can check out her original bracelet designs (and more!) on Instagram

“My favorite product is my DIY Best Friend Bracelet kit,” said Olivia.” They are my favorite because you can customize them any way you want with your own color pathway and then make bracelets for your friends to wear. They come in their own cool kit and you get lots of different types of materials!”

Olivia is donating a portion of all of her sales from Saturday’s market to Baltimore Hunger Project. Baltimore Hunger Project is near and dear to Olivia because they help local families by bridging the weekend meal gap for food-insecure children. Plus, she “really loves the owner, Ms. Lynne B Kahn.”

Making is a family affair for siblings Julie, Ryan, and Linzey, the creative team behind Sunshine Street Young Artists. You’ll find an eclectic mix of resin jewelry at their table. Why resin? It’s super fun to mix the mica powder into the resin and see what colors you can create! Every once in a while, a mistake turns out even better than expected. And who doesn’t love that?

Julie, Ryan, and Linzey are donating a portion of their Bits and Bobs sales to Together Rising.

“They are a non-profit group who helps to relieve suffering in our communities and around the world, their motto is to transform heartache into action,” said Julie. “One example of their work is their endless pursuit of reuniting detained immigrant children who were separated from their families. We chose this charity because, first, my mom loves Glennon [Doyle]. Secondly, we believe every child has a right to be with their family.”

Mark your calendars for Saturday and plan to stop by the Bits and Bobs Spring Market to support these young entrepreneurs and philanthropists!
