Have pint-sized Os fans at home? Planning on safely checking out a Baltimore O’s game this season? Good news! Orioles games are pretty darn budget friendly for families.

The Orioles are offering two packages for families this season: Kids Cheer FREE (for kids 9 and under) and Kids Cheer FREE Plus (for kids 14 and under).

The “Kids Cheer Free” initiative invites parents to bring their kids to games — compliments of the team. Every adult who purchases a regularly-priced individual game ticket in the Upper Deck is to bring up to two children (ages 9 and under) to the ballpark free of charge. Tickets are subject to availability.

The “Kids Cheer Free Plus” package offers free access to all Orioles home games through the Kids Cheer Free Ticket offer (excludes Opening Day), exclusive swag, ticket voucher for four (4) tickets to any Select, Classic, or Value game, and other special offers. Due to Oriole Park limited capacity, lower-level ticket redemption is subject to availability.

If you purchased a Kids Cheer Free Plus membership prior to the scheduled start of the 2020 season, no action is required on your part. Your membership will automatically be honored for the upcoming year. Prior to the start of the 2021 season, you will be sent a new 2021 membership card, a new ticket voucher valid for up to four (4) free tickets to any Select, Classic, or Value game, PLUS a kids reusable face mask.

If you’re thinking about heading to a game, be sure to check out the new health and safety requirements. A few to note (as of post publication on April 1, 2021):

  • Face coverings must be worn properly in all areas of the Oriole Park at Camden Yards campus including parking lots and entry lines into the ballpark, except when actively eating or drinking at your designated seating location.
  • Masks with exhalation valves and gaiters are not permitted.
  • The ballpark is now cashless. Methods of payment will be limited to Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Cash will not be accepted at ballpark parking lots, concession stands, and box office.
  • Game tickets are sold and distributed in pods.
  • Gates will open 60 minutes prior to first pitch and fans will only be permitted to enter and exit Oriole Park only through gates A, C, F, and H.
  • For easy and contactless entry into the ballpark, please have your tickets ready on your mobile device in the MLB Ballpark app.
