“C” is for Cookie… and FUN! Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library announced a (cool) new fundraiser that will have the cookie monsters in your house saying Om nom nom nom. Introducing new Sesame Street-themed “C is for Cookie” cookie kits made by Food Network star Jason Hisley’s bakery team. Best part? Every purchase gives back and helps support library programming.
The “C is for Cookie” kit, available to order on the Foundation’s website, is packed with all of the ingredients necessary to make six — SIX! Ah-Ah-Ah! — surprise cookies from Cake by Jason Hisley. Eighteen individual cookies (three cookies are assembled to make one surprise cookie), ready to assemble, fill with a fun surprise and decorate to look like Cookie Monster.
Cookies are made with real, all-natural ingredients including eggs, butter and wheat flour, and are not vegan or gluten-free. In addition, the Cake by Jason team endeavors to prevent cross contamination of common allergens. However, because they are used every day in its facility, cross contamination is possible.
Cookie kits are $50 — but you can order enhanced kits with even more treats! The Plus Kit ($75) contains truffles, chocolate-covered pretzels, caramels, and an exclusive virtual author talk with Michael Davis, author of Street Gang: The Complete History of Sesame Street, now a major motion picture. A VIP Kit purchase includes a bottle of wine, a signed copy of Street Gang and complimentary delivery of your basket by Foundation Board or staff member (within a 15 mile radius of Towson).
The Foundation is also selling raffle tickets for their Basket of Cheer, filled with adult beverages and Foundation swag, worth over $250. Tickets are just $10 each, or three for $25.
Cookie kit orders close on April 23rd. Kit pickup and delivery begin May 1, 2021.
