Using binoculars, discover the beauty of the Pleiades and Perseus star clusters. Looking overhead you will find the long “v” of Andromeda and look for the Andromeda galaxy. This “v” leads us down to the “great square” of Pegasus. Find out about the upcoming Leonid meteor shower and where it is for those “night owls” that are awake and outside after midnight on November 16 & 17. Black Hill Nature Programs
Go on a treasure hunt hike! Letterboxes are hidden all over our parks and Montgomery County Rec and Parks will guide you on a hike to find them using clues provided. Please register no later than 24 hours before the hike so they can contact you with the hike’s location and other important information. You will meet up with a naturalist who will provide you with the clues and send you on your way down the trail. Intended for ages 5 & Up. MORE
Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru

RFK Stadium Festival Grounds
The new Drive-Thru version of Jurassic Quest® features over 70 life-like dinosaurs including the very popular T. rex, Spinosaurus and Triceratops. Jurassic Quest’s herd of animatronic dinos are displayed in realistic scenes that allow guests to experience them roaring and moving from their own vehicles as they drive their way through the tour. Baby dinosaurs greet guests and bring big smiles to explorers of all ages. During the Drive-Thru experience, guests are guided by an engaging and informative digital audio tour featuring show entertainers and dino wranglers that lasts about an hour. Guests stay in their cars throughout the tour with limited contact, if any, with staff who wear masks, social distance, and follow all state and local guidelines regarding health and safety. MORE
