Pumpkin Patch Express at B&O Railroad Museum

The spooky season is upon us, and to celebrate at the B&O, the Mile One Express becomes the Pumpkin Patch Express! Take a Halloween-decorated train ride out to the B&O’s pumpkin patch, located at the site of the First Mile Stable. After choosing their child-size pumpkin, kids will take the train back to the B&O, where they can decorate their pumpkins, play carnival games, win prizes, enjoy a fall snack, and receive tokens to use on our children’s rides! Boo Thru at Honeygo Park

Honeygo Regional Park

The Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks is celebrating Halloween, drive-thru style! Prepackaged, grab & go goodie bags will be handed out by local organizations to kids from the safety of family vehicles. MORE INFO

Boo at the Zoo
October 24, 10 AM – 6 PM
Plumpton Park Zoo

Go trick or treating at the Plumpton Park Zoo! Come dressed and bring a bag. This fun is for the 2yr-12yr old age group. Have the whole family dress up! Free with Zoo Admission. MORE INFO

Trick or Treat (Pick-Up) At The Square

Belvedere Square

Head to Belvedere Square on Saturday, October 24th from 12-3 pm for Halloween, COVID-style… Trick or Treat (Pick Up) at the Square will feature a pumpkin and goody-bag pick-up area, which will be located in the ChoiceOne Urgent Care parking lot at 600 E. Belvedere Ave. They sure hope we see you, in costume and mask, at the Square that day to retrieve your treats and celebrate the socially distanced ~spooky~ season. MORE INFO

Howllaween Spooktakular Drive-By

Don’t be “spooked” by the pandemic and miss out in Halloween festivities this year! Experience the Halloween fun and “Trick or Treat” in a safe and responsible manner from the comfort of your car! Here is how it works: Load up your car with all your loved ones and drive through EcoAdventures collection of creepy critters, scary beasts, and more ghosts and skeletons, than you can probably handle!!! All along their drive-by course will be games of skill, live animal encounters, candy/treat giveaways, carved pumpkins, spooky characters, magic, fortune telling, the unexplained, and plenty of old fashioned Halloween fun — all from the safety of your own vehicle. Park’d N’ Pumpkin

Druid Hill Park

A twist on BCRP’s Annual Park N’ Pumpkin, BCRP introduces Park’d N’ Pumpkin. On Sat., Oct. 24, Druid Hill Park will get spooky with trick or treat and other fun fall activities. As you drive through the park, you will encounter spooks and treats along your route. Grab a mini pumpkin, candy,  activity kits and more!   Make a night of it and stay for a showing of “Hocus Pocus” at 8 PM. MORE INFO

Halloween Crafternoon
October 25, 3 PM – 5 PM
Holt Park and Center for the Arts

Enjoy making Halloween crafts at Holt Park! Activities take place outdoors at the picnic tables, weather permitting. Craft supplies will be prepackaged for ease of use and sanitization. People of all ages are welcome. Donations are appreciated. Please wear a mask and allow for social distancing! Zoo Booooo!

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore

Celebrate Halloween & the fall season with the Zoo’s 37th annual ZooBOOO! Due to restrictions implemented in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, this year’s event will be limited to trick-or-treating. But that doesn’t mean you still can’t have fun! Wear your favorite costume, visit some of your favorite animals, and collect candy at their many trick-or-treat stations. Saturday event is sold out. Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat at Harford Community College
October 30, 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Harford Community College

Join the fun! Harford Community College will host a socially distant, child-friendly Drive Thru Trick or Treat on campus on Friday, October 30 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Participants will remain in their cars and candy will be distributed during this free event for the community. WHFC Radio (91.1 FM) will play kid-friendly Halloween music throughout event to help set the mood. Those participating can get in the spirit by dressing in costume and decorating their vehicle. The event will begin at Entrance 6 (Rt.22 near the Wawa). A candy distribution route map and scavenger hunt information will be provided upon arrival. A Food Drive to support HCC’s Food Pantry will be facilitated during event, and attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the HCC Food Pantry. MORE INFO

Drive-Thru Haunted House

Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Department

 The Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Company is having their first ever drive thru haunted house this Friday, October 30. From 6 to 9P.M. you are invited to cruise through the villain themed experience. Guests will receive candy and goody bags at character themed stations. Admission is $20 per car.  All proceeds will benefit the fire house.  MORE INFO

Halloween Campfire

Join a park ranger for a chilling night around the campfire for scary stories. We will take a short walk around to explore what is crawling at night. Costumes welcome! Bring your flashlight. Join Macaroni Kid at Gaver Farm for our 3rd annual “Spooktacular Trick or Treat,” presented by Mt. Airy Children’s Dental Associates. There will be vendors offering goodies to all the trick or treaters and they’ll have a Costume Contest with an unbeatable grand prize! On Saturday, October 31st the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company will host a “Halloween Truck or Treat” from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. There will be various food trucks, trick or treating for the kids and fire prevention tables with giveaways. Experience the sights and sounds of all things Halloween as you drive over to The Jachman Army Reserve Base and enjoy a fun and safe way to Trick-or-Treat in your car while maintaining physical distancing. Car trunks will be decorated for your viewing pleasure in various Halloween themes at the Army Base Parking Lot located next to the fire station. Children will enjoy a pumpkin patch, take-home craft activity kits, swag items, music/entertainment, prizes, candy and more. Great Halloween Lantern & Día de Los Muertos Car Parade

Southeast Baltimore/Patterson Park

This year The Creative Alliance bringing the infamous Halloween Lantern parade into the neighborhoods of Southeast Baltimore! Decorate your stoop, create lanterns at home, cheer on the parade! The car parade will wind its way through Southeast Baltimore, with music, massive glowing lanterns, bubbles, decorated vehicles, Día de Los Muertos inspired floats and sculptures, flowers, lights, and special pop-up Sidewalk Serenade performances located along the parade route to keep the energy moving.
