The spooky season is upon us, and to celebrate at the B&O, the Mile One Express becomes the Pumpkin Patch Express! Take a Halloween-decorated train ride out to the B&O’s pumpkin patch, located at the site of the First Mile Stable. After choosing their child-size pumpkin, kids will take the train back to the B&O, where they can decorate their pumpkins, play carnival games, win prizes, enjoy a fall snack, and receive tokens to use on our children’s rides! Head to Belvedere Square on Saturday, October 24th from 12-3 pm for Halloween, COVID-style… Trick or Treat (Pick Up) at the Square will feature a pumpkin and goody-bag pick-up area, which will be located in the ChoiceOne Urgent Care parking lot at 600 E. A twist on BCRP’s Annual Park N’ Pumpkin, BCRP introduces Park’d N’ Pumpkin. On Sat., Oct. 24, Druid Hill Park will get spooky with trick or treat and other fun fall activities. Enjoy making Halloween crafts at Holt Park! Activities take place outdoors at the picnic tables, weather permitting. Craft supplies will be prepackaged for ease of use and sanitization. Celebrate Halloween & the fall season with the Zoo’s 37th annual ZooBOOO! Due to restrictions implemented in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, this year’s event will be limited to trick-or-treating. Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat at Harford Community College

Join the fun! Harford Community College will host a socially distant, child-friendly Drive Thru Trick or Treat on campus on Friday, October 30 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Participants will remain in their cars and candy will be distributed during this free event for the community. WHFC Radio (91.1 FM) will play kid-friendly Halloween music throughout event to help set the mood. Those participating can get in the spirit by dressing in costume and decorating their vehicle. The event will begin at Entrance 6 (Rt.22 near the Wawa). A candy distribution route map and scavenger hunt information will be provided upon arrival. A Food Drive to support HCC’s Food Pantry will be facilitated during event, and attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the HCC Food Pantry. MORE INFO

This year The Creative Alliance bringing the infamous Halloween Lantern parade into the neighborhoods of Southeast Baltimore! Decorate your stoop, create lanterns at home, cheer on the parade! The car parade will wind its way through Southeast Baltimore, with music, massive glowing lanterns, bubbles, decorated vehicles, Día de Los Muertos inspired floats and sculptures, flowers, lights, and special pop-up Sidewalk Serenade performances located along the parade route to keep the energy moving.
