Head to Weber’s Cider Mill Farm for their 45th Annual Johnny Appleseed Weekend

Head to Weber’s Farm in Parkville on September 19th and 20th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for fresh apple cider and donuts, fall barnyard fun, live music by Satyr Hill Band (12-4pm), Aqua Art, gem mining, balloon creations, food trucks: Dizzy Cow Pizzeria, Bricker’s Famous French Fries, Baltimore Crab Crake Company, craft show with local artisans, and more!  Tickets must be purchased in advance and face masks are required at all times for guests ages 2 and older. Discover Dinosaurs at the Maryland Science Center

The dinosaurs are taking over at the Maryland Science Center on Saturday, September 19th! Channel your inner paleontologist as you uncover fossils and learn about the dinosaurs who roamed the earth millions of years ago. Learn how paleontologist categorize dinosaurs and discover what they ate by studying their poop! Scour Dino Hall to find the dinosaur that matches your clues and even come up with your own dinosaurs. Uncover the mysteries of the dinosaurs at Dino Day! Event runs from 12 PM – 4 PM. All activities are free with paid admission and completely free for MSC members. MORE

Make a Laser Cut Desk Organizer with the Chesapeake Arts Center (FREE!)

Chesapeake Arts Center’s popular Free Family MakerSpace Workshops are back this fall with even more opportunities to get creative as a family! This Saturday from 10 AM – 12:15 pm, families can assemble and decorate Laser Cut Desk Organizers! This workshop will be held outside under tents at CAC (weather-permitting). All ages are welcome, but caregivers must be present. Pre-registration through the CAC website is required and space is limited. Participants must wear masks, practice social-distancing and follow our C.A.R.E.S. safety protocol.  MORE

Catch a Drive-In Movie at the Maryland State Fairgrounds

You can see some of your favorite classic movies at the Timonium Fairgrounds! Friday night, see Minions. On Saturday night? Catch Happy Gilmore on the big screen! $25 per car of four. Additional person are $6/person. Gates open at 6:30 PM and the movie begins at 7:30 PM. Be sure to use the Timonium Road Gate entrance.  MORE
