The answer to power is in the breeze! Wind is all around us. It cools us on a hot summer day. We see it when the leaves blow. But how can we harness the power of the wind? Join the team from Roland Park Country School for a fun morning of science exploration! In this activity we will explore how wind can be used as a sustainable energy source by building a wind powered pulley system. This activity is ideal for elementary school-age students (entering grades K-5).
All kids will receive a wind science experiment kit from Roland Park Country School to use during the event (no additional fee!). Kits can be picked-up curbside from the school on Tuesday, July 21 from 9-10 AM for Wednesday, July 22 from 3-4pm. Details will be in your registration confirmation!
This Edventure is $5/family for Summer Adventure Passport Member Families. It’s $10/family for non-Summer Adventure Passport Member families.
