Suddenly teaching via interactive video? Join (cool) progeny editor-in-chief Heather Walsh for a session that delves into successful techniques for teaching via video. We’ll start with basics like the best way to set-up your space and then dive into dialogic instruction strategies. The session will end with brainstorming of fun ideas to try with students. 

Specializing in how learners interact through technology, Heather works with organizations to develop compelling technology-enhanced content for staff training, education, and marketing purposes. She has worked with K12 schoolspublic/cultural institutions, non-profits, and commercial entities that specialize in children and family products and services. She has developed more than 1000 educational interactive video programs and projects, many of which have earned national and international acclaim. Heather’s unique approach to pedagogy and professional development has impacted more than 1 million learners nationwide. Heather was the founder and creator of the MAGPI Fellows Program and co-authored the “Getting Real in Virtual Talk About Text” study in Middle School Journal.
