Join us at Storyville for EXCLUSIVE access before it’s open to the public at 1 pm! Storyville is a child-sized village that features developmentally appropriate books, toys and activities for children birth to age 5 and their parents or caregivers. We’ll also have snacks, coffee for the adults, and a craft. FREE (but you MUST be a member in order to attend!). **Note, children over the age of 5 cannot be admitted into Storyville. MORE

100 Years of Women’s Right to Vote!
Saturday, March 7 | 10 AM – 2 PM
Reginald F. Lewis Museum

Learn about the suffrage movement that resulted in the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution. Experience living history portrayals of Maryland women who empowered women and men to exercise their right to vote, “vote” at a polling machine and participate in activities explore and celebrate women’s history. This program is in partnership with Girl Scouts of Central Maryland and in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment. Program fee: $10 per Girl Scout, $5 per adult. MORE

The Waldorf School of Baltimore

Join the Waldorf School of Baltimore community for their annual Waldorf Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 7! This fun-filled weekend attracts over 600 families from across the state of Maryland and features artisan wares, live music, a Spring Faerie’s Grotto, a children’s shopping room, family crafts, jump rope making, marionette shows, food trucks, and much more! Mario the Maker Magician

The Creative Alliance

It’s magic through the lens of the Maker Movement! New York-based touring children’s performer Mario the Maker Magician is known for his handmade robotic creations, upcycled props and new school slapstick character. As seen on Sesame Street, Sprout, and live on tour with David Blaine. Mario’s show is an upbeat, hilarious and very interactive experience that leaves children and families inspired to nurture their own creative paths. David Blaine calls him “the best kids’ magician in the world!!” Show is: 60-70 minutes with no intermission. Ideal for ages 3-10 and their families. Meet Illustrator Hannah Salyer

Hannah Salyer is a debut illustrator who lives and works in Brooklyn. She graduated from the Communications Design Department at Pratt Institute. In her free time she can be found playing with clay, cutting up paper, or burying her nose in different books. This Saturday, meet her at The Children’s Bookstore! She’ll be promoting her first book, Packs. Groups, packs, herds of millions, and more — our world teems with animals on land, air, and sea. In Packs, Salyer celebrates how animals who live in packs, herds, pods, and other groups teach us that togetherness and teamwork are what makes these creatures (and us!) thrive. MORE

Weekend Walk-In: Plant a Silly Succulent

Let’s get green! Layer lots of dirt, rocks and a succulent of your choice in a recycled vase and decorate. Full Worm Moon Night Hike & Campfire

Annual Pancake Breakfast

Celebrate the end of the sugar season at Oregon Ridge Lodge for Oregon Ridge Nature Center’s Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. Enjoy a stack of hotcakes drizzled with maple syrup and served with grilled sausage, orange juice, milk or coffee. There will be raffles and live music along with flower, honey and maple syrup sales.
