Twig and Leaf Creatures

The woods are bare, but there are lots of twigs and leaves you can collect. Kids ages 2-10 and their caregivers are invited to Cromwell Valley Nature Center to take a walk, gather leaves and twigs, and then return to the Nature Center to make a “VALLEY CREATURE.” $2 members/$4 non-members. Spaghetti Disco

Spaghetti Disco is an endearingly wacky tradition all about spaghetti, sequins, and supporting a good cause! This year will be the 22nd annual Spaghetti Disco, where you can enjoy a delicious spaghetti feast before dancing the night away to ‘70s classics and today’s hits. All proceeds will benefit the Village Learning Place, a nonprofit library in Charles Village with programs for everyone from toddlers to seniors. Entertainment will be provided by Acme Happenings. Disco attire is encouraged!

Observatory Open House – Stargazing

Harford Community College

Kid friendly! Observatory Open House at the Harford Community College. Highlights will include the Moon, Venus, Uranus, a few bright globular clusters, and a some planetary nebulas. Guests may also see the star Betelgeuse, which you may have heard about in the news recently. Besides our amazing 14in schmidt cassegrain telescope, there will be various telescopes setup in the parking lot for guests to view the cosmos. MORE

Preschool Paint and Play at Social Studio
Sundays | 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Social Studio Baltimore

The studio will be abuzz with children making choices and telling their stories as they explore new materials and make new friends. Easel painting and other hands-on art invitations will be set-up in the “messy zone” and they can look at books and build with colored blocks in the “clean zone”. Pre-school Paint and Play is recommended as a “drop-off” class providing space and time for students to interact with the materials and each other and for the teacher to support extended engagement in explorations. The space is not safe for children under 3 years old. For planning purposes, if there are no artists registered two hours before class, the class will be canceled. MORE

Laurie Berkner Band LIVE at Gordon Center

Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra Concert
