Family Hike at Cylburn
Saturday, June 22 | 8:30 am – 10:30 am | Cylburn Arboretum

School’s Out, time to get outside and play! Explore the gardens and trails of Cylburn Arboretum. Walk the bamboo maze. Decorate the fairy home doorway in the Dawn Redwood tree and help your children get more involved in nature. Hike begins at 8:30AM in front of the Vollmer Center. MORE

African Journey Celebration
Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23 | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm | The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore

It’s almost time to celebrate lions, giraffes, and elephants! On June 22 & 23 be one of the first guests to experience three totally new habitats at the African Journey Celebration. Make Music Night at Holt Park

Gravity Youth Festival

The Havre De Grace Youth Commission will be hosting the inaugural Gravity Youth Festival on June 22 from 1- 5 pm at the Lock House Museum in Havre de Grace. This is a fun-filled event geared toward the youth in our community. There will be an entertainment stage with performances by bands Middle of No Where, Tony Hancock Trio, Restore Church, and other local artists. Celebrate summer by cooling off at the nature center with activities down at the Middle Patuxent River! By popular demand, they’ve added weekday sessions in addition to our weekend offerings. Bring your own non-perishable picnic, and join a Robinson Naturalist at the river for lunch and fun, family-friendly river games. Search the stream for big and small animals!
