We’re kicking off the 2019 Summer Adventure season with a TREASURE TROVE of fun at Mt. Washington Tavern! Join us for face painting, a pirate story performance, crafts, and MORE! Make a day of it and stay for lunch after the event. The Tavern will have a special pirate-themed children’s menu and dessert that day (definitely make a reservation)! Must have a Summer Passport to participate. FREE! MORE
Creative Movement, Towson University

Towson University Community Dance
Get groovy with us at Towson University Community Dance for an hour of creative movement and dance fun! This session is designed to be a sampling of their very popular movement program for preschool aged kids. $5/child, must purchase in advance. Must have a Summer Passport to participate. MORE
Make Music Night
Friday, June 21 | 7 PM – 8:30 PM
Holt Park and Center for the Arts
Baltimore County Public Library and Holt Park and Center for the Arts co-host Make Music Day with a concert by the bluegrass duo Ken and Brad Kolodner. Participate in summer solstice crafts and nature walks, visit the library bookmobile, and learn about the new Traveling Book Club. Refreshments available for purchase.Folding chair or blanket and bug spray recommended. This event is FREE and open to all. However, show your Passport AND that you’re registered for summer reading at the (cool) progeny tent to get a special prize! MORE

Hampton National Historic Site
Join us for a morning of creativity at Hampton National Historic Site! We’ll have art activities and crafts from Fresh Cut Crafts, Thinkery, and Baltimore Clayworks plus entertainment from Frolic the Fox and STAGES Music and Arts. There will be LOTS of opportunities to explore this National Park site! Hampton will offer special kids’ tours of the mansion at 10:30 AM and old-fashioned games on the farm, as well as fun junior ranger activities for kids. FREE! What’s happening during Week 2? We’re playing at Kiddie Crusoe on Tuesday, having a Magic Morning at St. James Academy on Wednesday, giddying up for a Fitness Rodeo on Thursday Night at acac Timonium, and getting REALLY MUDDY on Saturday at Carrie Murray Nature Center!
