BARNES AND NOBLE SUMMER READING

Barnes & Noble’s Summer Reading Program is back to give young readers the opportunity to earn a free book! Read any eight books this summer and record them in a Summer Reading Journal. Bring your completed journal to a Barnes & Noble store in August to choose your FREE reading adventure from the book list featured in the journal. MORE

B&O RAILROAD MUSEUM

A magical experience that will take you on a trip and teach you new things about people and places! Participate in the “I’ve Been Readin’ on the Railroad” Summer Reading Program at the B&O Railroad Museum and earn a free book and a chance to win an engineer’s outfit. Pick up a reading journal at the B&O Railroad Museum. MORE

BALTIMORE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Reach for the stars with our Summer Reading Challenge, taking place from June 17 through September 1. This year’s theme, “A Universe of Stories,” features a variety of events and programs to encourage participants of all ages to explore, learn, create and connect through books, programs and activities. ENOCH PRATT FREE LIBRARY

Enoch Pratt’s Summer Reading Challenge runs from June 12 – August 14 at all Pratt Library locations. Earn prizes by reading, doing learning activities, or attending library programs. Open to all ages! This year’s theme (like BCPL) is A Universe of Stories. MORE

UKAZOO BOOKS

Ukazoo Books kicked off their summer reading program this week. Kids ages 13 and under can earn free books. Just read any six books and fill out their Summer Reading Journal. Bring in the completed journal and pick out a FREE used book! (Best part? Kids can repeat as often as they’d like until September 2, 2019!) MORE

THE IVY BOOKSHOP

The Ivy Bookshop isn’t offering a Summer Reading program per se, but they are helping Ivy Kids get a jump on their summer reading list! They are offering a 10% student discount for required books. MORE
