Parent/Child Cooking Series – Chinese Favorites

Although we tend to just order Chinese food for take-out, making some of your most favorite dishes at home can be very easy. The class will take on the task of rolling and frying vegetarian egg rolls and preparing two classics from the wok – shrimp fried rice and pork lo mein. Join Holt Park for their 12th annual egg roll, crafts, games, and treats, and fun for all ages! Activities are free, donations are welcome. What is an Egg Roll? It is a race where each child rolls an egg down a grassy hill. Dolley Madison brought it to the white house in 1814 and they brought it to Overlea-Fullerton in 2007.
