The Torrey Smith Family Fund Charity Basketball Game

Join Torrey along with his current and former teammates and local celebrities as they test their skills on the basketball court, all in the name of charity. Royal Farms Arena is hosting Smith’s 6th Annual Charitable Basketball game. What do the Wright Brothers, James Watt, and Hedy Lamarr all have in common? They’re all science heroes! Join (cool) progeny at St. James Academy for a family date night that’s all about science, science leaders, and hands-on fun. (You won’t even have to worry about dinner because we’ll have pizza!) Launch paper rockets, explore constellations, design binary code bracelets, investigate different science heroes, tackle a boat challenge, and more! We’ll even look at the states of matter as we make root beer floats! The evening will be mc’d by Professor Mike from Professor Mike’s Science and Magic Show. MORE

Then Mr. Mark and Mr. Sheldon will do a reading of their book followed by a mindfulness exercise.
