Baltimore City Kids Yoga Classes

Baltimore Yoga Village

Baltimore Yoga Village offers a host of classes for kids of all ages at their Baltimore locations — prenatal yoga and kids yoga classes (ages 5-9) are offered ongoing, but they also sometimes offer a baby yoga program, yoga summer camp, teen girls yoga squad program, and coed teen program. The kids’ yoga program is built on the foundation that children deserve the benefits of yoga just as much as adults! Through traditional postures, games, breathing techniques and relaxation practices children will experience fun, challenges, and joy, while increasing their self-esteem and decreasing their stress. 

BambooMoves Baltimore

For those that are expecting, BambooMoves Baltimore offers prenatal yoga classes at their Fort Avenue studio in Locust Point.

Child’s Heart Yoga

Baltimore mom and former special education teacher, Bridget Strama, started Child’s Heart Yoga after she began to search for ways to help children, both my students and my own, reduce their anxiety and improve social skills. Relaxed and happy children are her goal! She offers classes and workshops at Earth Pulse Yoga in Hamilton, St. Francis of Assisi School, and other locations around the area. She’s currently teaching “Hoop Yogini” class for kids (and adults!) ages 10 and up. Yes, it’s exactly what you think it is — yoga with hula hoops.

Yoga Tree Baltimore

Yoga Tree Baltimore in Hampden offers a fun “My Kid and Me” yoga class! (YES – you can take yoga with your 3-6 year old!) They write that this class “is a wonderful way to spend time with your child and be completely removed from the daily activities that we all have to focus on.”

Core Cycle Studios

Located in Timonium, Core Cycle Studios is offering a brand new yoga series — and it’s for kids and teens! Children’s yoga classes meet on Saturday afternoons. Through partner poses, games and a fun flow, instructor Julie will meet each student where they are, so beginners and advanced pint-sized yogis are welcome. She will invite each child to challenge themselves mentally and physically, to have fun, and to take one hour each week to just “be” on their mat.

Razz Yoga

Razz Yoga in Phoenix offers a host of classes and camps for pint-sized yogis (baby – teen classes as well as family yoga classes!). All Family and Youth Instructors are certified by Radiant Child®. Their offerings are based on the vision of Radiant Child which is to create a world of peace through the union of yoga and children. 

Yoga on York

Kids can take flight — literally — with their yoga practice at Yoga on York! The Towson studio offers aerial yoga for kids in addition to traditional kids’ yoga classes. They also offering a summer camp for tweens and teens.

Harford County Kids Yoga Classes

Love Evolution Studio

The Bel Air Yoga studio offers kids yoga and yoga for teens. Love Evolution‘s classes aim to improve a child’s strength, flexibility, and coordination. They will learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, games as well as centering breathing techniques to improve focus. Ages 6-12 exceptions made with consent from Love Evolution staff. Erin Leach from Mama Bear Yoga teaches kids at Love Evolution.

On March 30th, they are hosting Author Mark Gruber- Lebowitz and Illustrator Sheldon Gruber-Lebowitz as they present Peace Pom, Ronan Makes a Difference on March 30th. Before the author event, Erin from Mama Bear Yoga will be leading a 30 minute yoga session for kids. Tickets are limited!

Yoga Centric

Yoga Centric in Bel Air offers prenatal yoga, kids’ workshops, and the occasional kids pop-up aerial yoga class. They often conveniently schedule kids’ classes at the same time as an adult class — so you can drop your pint-sizer and get your zen on, too!

Howard County Kids Yoga Classes

The Yoga Center of Columbia

The Yoga Center of Columbia offers kids ant teen yoga classes –plus a Baby & Me Stretch and Play Class that is designed for babies 6-weeks old until crawling and their caregivers. This class teaches gentle stretching and movement techniques for baby to promote healthy digestion, enhance bonding, and improve sleep. Caregivers will learn breathing and meditation techniques to cultivate patience and enhance relaxation. 

Yoga Revelation

During kids’ yoga at Yoga Revelation in Ellicott City, children explore, imagine, sing, create art, and play while learning yoga poses, breathing, and creative movement. During each fun adventure, children experience the multi-faceted benefits of yoga, such as focus, balance, relaxation, connection, and building strength. 

YogiS

YogiS, located in the Waverly Woods community, offers yoga classes for kids and teens. Their little yogis class is for kids ages 3-5 and their kids yoga classes are for ages 5-10.
