Looking to give your mini maestro an international experience? Try Baltimore School of Music’s new “Around the World” class! A cultural exploration of culture around the world through learning about composers, instruments, and music from different regions.
Designed for kids ages 4-6, this class will feature games, activities, and listening to songs from Europe, Latin America, North America, Middle East, and Asia. Classes take place on Saturdays from 11 AM – 11:45 AM.
Baltimore School of Music uses the facilities at Second Presbyterian Church, located in Roland Park.
Want a little more traditional introduction to music experience for your child? Their musical fanfare class introduces new musicians to different instruments and helps prepare them for lessons. Older mini maestros (those age 6 and up) can take part in their group guitar classes. Don’t worry if you don’t have a pint-sized guitar — their class fee includes an instrument rental. For those with toddlers, they offer a “rhythm and movement” class for the littlest musicians and their caregivers.
