Where can you sip, shop, and create a botanical bath bomb on Saturday? At Green Spring Station’s Holiday Makers Market!

Now in its third year, Makers Market is a one-day holiday marketplace featuring Baltimore’s most talented artists and crafters as they ‘set up shop’ around the center. Honestly, this is one of the best holiday shopping outings in the area and admission is FREE.

In addition to shopping, the event boasts a DIY corner where you can sign up to make your own merry. This year, they are offering wreathmaking with Flowers & Fancies, bath bomb creating with Deep Leaf Organics, and hand-lettered ornament crafting with Lauren Percz. (For those of you who feel you haven’t found ‘the artist within’, you’ll have plenty of stencils to choose from if you want to make an ornament!). DIY workshops cost $30-$40 each and include all materials and instruction. DIY classes will be offered on-going from 11 AM – 2:30 PM. Each item will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete, so plan your day accordingly!

A few of our featured makers in this year’s Holiday Guide will be selling there, too! Grab Polished Babe scrub from Skin Juice Organics for your bestie — or pick up some letterpress coasters from Tiny Dog Press. Almanac Industries will also be there. Whitney Cecil is the creative mama behind Almanac Industries and we featured two items from her other line, Curated Circus, in the guide.

Book the sitter, grab your gals, and enjoy!
