It’s time to dust off those ice skates — the PANDORA Ice Rink at the Inner Harbor is OPEN and has lots of (cool) things planned for the holiday season.
Located between the Harborplace Pavilions, the rink is open for posted hours during the week and for extended hours on holidays. It’s the perfect keep-em-busy activity for those days off of school, early evenings or weekend adventures. (Ice skating under the stars and city lights followed by a cup of cocoa from the Christmas Village? It’s the stuff holiday memories are made of!). Regular admission is $9-$10 plus $4 for skate rental. Season passes are available for $150.
Have a membership to Port Discovery or the National Aquarium? You get to skate at a reduced rate! Show your membership card at the ice rink and enjoy a special $10 rate (includes admission & skate rental).
Most notable this year is the addition of The Penguin Pad. Presented by WhyHotel and located directly next to the rink, the area allows skaters to take a break, warm up next to fire pits and enjoy the waterfront views.
“We’ve made the ice rink bigger and better this year with more spaces to hang out, play, eat and enjoy the holiday season,” said Laurie Schwartz, president of the Waterfront Partnership. “It’s a magical time to be downtown; with its harbor views, the new Penguin Pad and exciting events, the PANDORA Ice Rink has something for everyone and many reasons to visit the rink throughout the season.”
The full lineup of programming for the 2018-2019 season includes favorites like Skatefest and Glow Party, as well as new events like Chanukah On Ice, National Christmas Card Day, Skating with Santa and Skate with a Superhero.
Grab your wooly mittens, fuzzy cap, and head to the rink this holiday season!
