What happens when you invite a prince, princess, ogre, witch, and pirate to brunch? You get a delicious, magical morning!

Drama Learning Center, ManneqArt and Inner Arbor Turst have teamed up to offer their first-ever Fairy Tale Brunch on Sunday, September 23rd! Kids can meet and take pictures with their favorite fairy tale characters, make crafts, and enjoy brunch. And yes! Everyone is encouraged to come in costume!

Not familiar with the Chrysalis? It’s really cool! It’s a high performance stage, park pavilion, and sculpture all-in-one! Really, it’s quite magical in itself. Over the summer, Inner Arbor Trust offered a series of kids’ arts performances through Chrysalis Kids — including Drama Learning Center’s production of Junie B. Jones The Musical.  The Fairy Tale Brunch is an opportunity to offer a more intimate, ticketed experience.

Brunch includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, pastries, coffee/hot chocolate/hot tea, and ReThink water boxes. Additional beverages, including mimosas for adults over 21, are available for purchase. Tickets are $12 for children ages 0-2 and $28.50 for guests over the age of 3.

Providing engaging family programming is key to Inner Arbor Trust’s development plan.

“We are building an art park with a 30 year plan, for the future of Downtown Columbia,” said Nina Basu, President & CEO of Inner Arbor Trust, Inc. “We aren’t building the Park for this generation, but the next.  Downtown Columbia is on the cusp of becoming a great arts and culture destination – and to do so, we need to engage and build the audience and love for the arts in the next generation.”
