The St. Nicholas Greek Folk Festival, Maryland’s most attended Hellenic celebration, will once again take place in Baltimore’s GreekTown Square. This annual four-day event celebrates the best of Greek culture: food, music, dance, faith and legendary hospitality. Attendees of the Greek Folk Festival will enjoy free admission and parking, food and drink vendor, kids’ activities including arts & crafts and games, and live music and performances. MORE

Waterfront Partnership’s Summer Social

Bring a blanket and enjoy a fun, family-friendly evening at West Shore Park every second Friday from May through September. Summer Socials feature live music by a local band, kids activities, food trucks, bar service, and the Walter Sondheim Interactive Fountain. Summer Socials are always free and fun to attend! Parents’ Survival Night

Colonial Market Fair

HONfest symbolizes all the charm and goodwill that lies within the hearts of those who live, work, and play in Bawlmer. “Hon” the Bawlmer term of endearment short for “Honey”, embodies the warmth and affection bestowed upon our neighbors and visitors alike by the historic working women of Baltimore. Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff

The Owings Mills Branch of Baltimore County Public Library is hosting a rockin’ Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff. The event, which takes place in front of the branch in the Metro Centre plaza, is free, open to all and highlights this year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme: Libraries Rock! Today’s 101.9 morning show co-host Gina Crash kicks off the festivities with music and dancing, Baltimore Hooplove entertains the family with hula hooping fun, rock out to the sounds of indie kids’ band Guava Jelly, kids can enjoy free face painting and balloon art, Baltimore County Animal Services’ Cuddle Shuttle shows off some adoptable animals and, of course, and a sign-up table for the Summer Reading Challenge.
