Harford United Charities invites you to run for recovery in Harford County at the Fifth Annual BG5K Run/Walk at Harford Community College. Proceeds will benefit nonprofit organizations supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness and seeking treatment for addiction. This one isn’t quite a 5K, but it’s a great family event! The Spencer Grace Foundation and Gilman School invite everyone to participate in the 4th Annual Strides for Spencer. This is a 2-mile run/walk and 100% of proceeds from the event will support pediatric brain cancer research at Johns Hopkins. Post-race celebrations with refreshments, face painting, kids’ craft, bake sale and raffle for a new iPad Pro and other great prizes! 5th Annual Keep Punching 5k Run, 1 Mile Walk & Kids Races to Benefit Keep Punching
Sunday, May 20 | 8:30 AM – 11 AM | Goucher College

Fun all ages! The 5k race will start from the Goucher College Track Complex and complete two loops of the campus before finishing back on the track. The 1 mile walk will stay on the track, where participants can enjoy music and a festival atmosphere. Strollers are welcome for the 5k and 1 mile walk – for safety reasons all strollers must start in the back. Kids races/activities will take place on the field inside the track. Keep Punching strives to support patients, health-care providers, and researchers in their fight to prevent and eradicate brain cancer and minimize treatment-related side effects that may adversely impact function and comfort. 18th Annual Stoneleigh Stampede to Benefit CASA

The Stoneleigh Community is hosting its 18th Annual 5K Fun Run & 1 Mile Walk. The course begins and finishes in the heart of Historic Stoneleigh. This year’s charity beneficiary is CASA. Half of the net race proceeds will be donated to this charity and the remaining half benefits the Stoneleigh Community Association. Entry fee of $27.00 per entrant, up to a max of $75.00 family. MORE
