Seems some of our favorite places for getting the wiggles are going out of business lately. Play Cafe closed last week and on Saturday, March 31, Ultimate Playzone in Cockeysville will close their doors.

They’re going out with a bit of fizz though — with a root beer float party.

“Best way to deal with sadness around Ultimate Playzone closing,” wrote owner Robb Tacelosky in a Facebook post, “Root beer floats.”

The center will be open from 10 AM – 1 PM and 3 PM to 5 PM on Saturday. The farewell party begins at 10 AM and the root beer floats are at 12 noon. The root beer floats will be provided by Credence Funding in Timonium with help from their friends at Long and Foster – John Kessler.

A hat will be passed for donations to help Playzone employees find their next adventure. Many of the business contents from Ultimate Playzone will also be on sale that day.

You can read more about the closure on their Facebook Page.
