Welcome to week five of our at-home eight-week program with Pure Barre Baltimore! We know how crazy busy life can be sometimes, so we’re bringing the experts to you. This week, we’re trying Reverse Chair. You definitely need a strong support for this exercise, so be sure there is a countertop, stable railing or flat wall nearby.

“This move strengthens quadriceps (tops of the thighs), increases heart rate, and improves knee stability,”said Nicholette Dunleavy, owner of Pure Barre Roland Park and Pure Barre Harborside. “Be sure to keep shoulders over your hips, knees stacked over your ankles, and keep weight in the balls of your feet.”
