PBS’ Celebration of Music is currently conducting a talent search — and they want talented kids from Maryland!
They are currently seeking musical acts (bands, solos, duets, choirs, instrumental, a cappella, and even dancers) age 4-25 years to audition online. Selected local contestants will be given an online presence on their website. All Maryland contestants will be invited to a live concert on May 17th at Gordon Center for the Arts, where the area winner will be announced. The winner will be invited to perform live at the concert, record a single, and perform in the Celebration of Music Finals in LA (an all-expenses paid trip!).
The PBS show stars national artist, Ethan Bortnick who will be advising and judging the talent, asking questions and sharing his experiences. Recognized by the Guinness World Records as “The World’s Youngest Solo Musician to Head-line His Own Concert Tour,” 16-year-old Ethan has been performing around the world, raising over $50,000,000 for charities across the globe.
Auditions will close in about a week or when they have enough contestants. So submit your videos quickly!
