Join us for some SUPER fun and a great cause! Grab your cape and zoom to Garrison Forest School for our 5th Annual Superhero Social to benefit Little Lion Challenge! Superhero sightings, glitter tattoos, arts, crafts, snacks, live music, HEROIC fun, and visits from nine of your favorite superheroes. We’re thrilled that Lisa and Mikel of Milkshake are joining us again to rock out with our mini superheroes and to debut an amazing kids band from STAGES.
As always, this event is uniquely designed to be inclusive of all children, including those with complex medical issues. The first 100 families to arrive will receive a special SUPERHERO bag of goodies from our community partners. Weather permitting, we will have inside and outside activities.
It’s the caped crusader celebration you don’t want to miss! Come dressed as your favorite superhero and have a BLAST with us!
Tickets will be available at the door — but you’ll get in quicker if you buy them online in advance! Your ticket includes entrance, all activities, snacks courtesy of KIND, kiddie ice cream cup, and performances. There will be opportunities to donate to Little Lion Challenge through our gift card auction or purchase a Little Lion Challenge t-shirt. Dinner will be available for purchase from Whole Foods Market’s Superhero food stand!
Please note that all attendees ages 1 and older need a ticket for this event. Children under age 1 are admitted free of charge.
About Little Lion Challenge
The (COOL) PROGENY SUPERHERO SOCIAL benefits the Little Lion Challenge, a non-profit organization created by (cool) progeny founders Heather and Patrick Walsh in 2014 after they brought their son Brennan home from 111 day NICU hospitalization. The Little Lion Challenge Fund is built upon the idea that small acts of kindness make a BIG ROAR — and aims to support families of children with complex medical issues. The organization provides hospital care and comfort packages to families with children in Baltimore area neonatal and pediatric ICUs every year on Little Lion Challenge Day, as well as other related good works. The Little Lion Challenge is a fund of The Community Foundation of Carroll County, Inc.
