In this introduction to nanoscience, students are exposed to the tiny world of nano, where objects are measured in nanometers, or one billionth of a meter! Center Plaza Play Date: Sip & Play

DPOB’s August Center Plaza Play Date combines two seemingly disparate entities (alcohol and reptiles) but think you’ll agree they go together swimmingly while you’re sipping an apres-work cocktail and your child is gleefully holding something with scales courtesy of the capable folks at Fangs, Frogs & More. Audition for the Children’s Chorus of Maryland

For children who love to sing! Auditions for children as young as 5 ½ will be held in Towson on August 15th,16th, & 17th for the 2017-2018 season of this comprehensive music education & choral performance program. The audition is a kid-friendly series of games, imitative exercises, and physical activities. No previous training is required.
