One of our favorite local farms for berry picking is open for the season! Head to Hybridoma Organic Fruit Farm in Baldwin to pick blueberries this week. The farm is only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 AM – 3 PM, making it a great mid-week adventure. No need to bring your own baskets — they supply buckets and bags for use. Mini-Mud Day at Lake Roland

International Mud Day is a day for children all over the world to celebrate nature, the glorious earth beneath our feet, and the joy of making a mess by getting really muddy. Join Lake Roland right outside our new nature center! Your young child can immerse themselves in mud play at a variety of stations that include sensory activities, crafts, and just plain (Dirty) fun! Farm Tours at Maryland Farm Park

Farm tours will help inspire the inner farmer in all of us. They will introduce youth to key topics within agriculture, and provide a fun filled activity for parent and child. Head to Maryland Farm Park to see Goats, Sheep, and Chickens! Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, water, and please come early or late.
