Yuri’s Night parties are held around the world every April in commemoration of Yuri Gagarin becoming the first human to venture into space on April 12, 1961, and the inaugural launch of the first Space Shuttle on April 12, 1981. Spark Imagination in the Octopus’ Garden

Take a Nature Walk
at Ladew Topiary Gardens | Daily | 10 AM – 5 PM

Explore various wildlife habitats of Ladew! From the wetland forest to the butterfly meadow, kids will love going on a nature adventure (and you’ll love that the trail is easy for little legs!). In addition to educational stations along the 1.5 mile trail, there is a short boardwalk through wetland forest and fresh water marsh. Tours are self-guided, aided by a printed map and descriptions of each station. We recommend baby carriers instead of strollers. MORE

Try Something Delicious from the Hello, Kitty! Cafe Food Truck
at The Avenue at White Marsh | Saturday, April 15 | 10 AM – 8 PM

The infamous Hello, Kitty! mobile pop-up shop will be coming by THE AVENUE at White Marsh on Saturday. Visit the New Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center

On March 11, 2017 the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center, in Dorchester County on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, opened to the public to immerse visitors in Tubman’s world through informative, evocative and emotive exhibits. The new national historical park preserves the same landscapes that Tubman used to carry herself and others away from slavery.  (It’s about a 2 hour drive from Baltimore). MORE
