Winter Break Festivities at Port Discovery

Port Discovery will offer special programs each day of winter break! Make magical moments with family and friends while enjoying a live animal petting zoo with Wildlife Adventures, enjoy  family yoga experiences with Life on Yoga Mountain, musical performances, craft activities and more! Activities are free with museum entry, which is $14.95 for guest ages 2 and up. Children under 2 and members are free. What are we most looking forward to? Learning about polar bear blubber. MORE

Extended Hours and Rudolph at the National Aquarium

Critter chats, animal encounters, and more! Learn How Things Work at the Baltimore Museum of Industry
December 27 – December 31 | 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Baltimore Museum of Industry collects, preserves, and interprets the industrial and technological heritage of the Baltimore region for the public by presenting educational programs and exhibitions that explore the stories of Maryland’s industries and the people who created and worked in them.  But this is NOT a hands-in-your-pockets kind of museum experience! It’s definitely kid-friendly and the museum goes above and beyond to provide immersive experiences for the pint-sized crowds. On Wednesday, little artists can participate in Cookies and Canvas. Just $25 to create a work of art (advanced registration required). On Saturday, build a car out of recycled materials from 10 AM – 4 PM as part of the Weekend Workers program (Free with paid admission). MORE

Drop In Art at The Walters Art Museum

Ice Skating at the PANDORA Ice Rink
Special Holiday Hours: Open Daily, 10 AM – 11 PM
It’s time to dust off those ice skates — the Pandora Ice Rink at the Inner Harbor is OPEN for the season! Located between the Harborplace Pavillions, the rink is open for posted hours seven days a week with extended times on the holidays. It’s the perfect keep-em-busy activity for those days off of school, early evenings or weekend adventures. (Ice skating under the stars and city lights followed by a cup of cocoa from the Christmas Village? It’s the stuff holiday memories are made of!). Regular admission is $9-$10 plus $4 for skate rental. Added bonus? Just show your skating wristband to take advantage of great dining deals around the harbor at your favorite restaurants. MORE

A Carroll’s Christmas at Mount Clare House Museum

Light Up Hanukkah at The Charmery

These jelly filled, fried doughnuts represent the oil used for lighting the menorah during the festive holiday.
