Messy Mondays at The Creative Cow
Join The Creative Cow (worth the drive to Harford County if you don’t already know about this gem!) on Monday, September 19th at 10am or 6pm for some Messy Monday fun! Little ones aged 9-24 months will get to explore art freedom & sensory development while making one of a kind masterpieces using non-toxic materials.  You can purchase tickets online or you may email to reserve your space. **Please be sure to specify your preferred time.

All About Apples at Eden Mill Nature Center
Your child’s natural curiosity will be engaged through stories, activities, crafts, snacks, and exploration of various parts of Eden Mill Park. Discovery opportunities will be provided for children during each class session through use of books, visuals, audio/visual supplements, art/crafting experiences, music and games, snacks. Children will be provided with concrete materials and experiences that help develop beginning literacy, language, math, science, and art skills. Yankee Doodle is a create-it-yourself arts and crafts shop that offers four core activities to choose from; create specialty soap, make custom candles, write and illustrate your own book or design your own placemat, as well as numerous seasonal and specialty activities to choose from. Toddler Time at the B&O Railroad Museum
Toddler Time is normally held at 10:30 a.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month during the months of January – October. Children listen to a classic railroad story, create a craft, enjoy playtime at Choo Choo Blue Kids Zone, and take a kiddie train ride through Choo Choo Blueville – all included with paid admission. Play Cafe’s newest storytime addition! Join us every Wednesday at 10am for a reading adventure through some perfect picture books. Mommy and Me Yoga at Razz Yoga
Mommy and Me classes with Mama Bear Yoga begins at Razz Yoga this week! Classes (you can just drop in!) will meet every Thursday morning from September 22-November 10! Class is geared towards Little Yogis (ages 6 months to 5 years; with caregiver) and meets at 9:30. Drop-in price is $15 per child/caregiver pair plus $5 per additional sibling. The Girl Who Swallowed the Sun at the Baltimore Book Festival
Head to the Baltimore Book Festival on Friday for a day of literary fun! Don’t miss The Girl Who Swallowed the Sun on the Children’s Stage at 1 PM. It is a 30-minute puppet show made entirely of repurposed materials to tell the story of a brave girl who swallows the sun in the midst of a town light bulb shortage. The show uses marionettes, hand puppets, and large-scale surprises to weave together heliocentic folklore and storytelling from all over the world. MORE
