It’s a short week — so make the most of your three day weekend by skipping the grocery store scavenger hunt. Here’s a kid-friendly meal plan everyone will love — and all of these family-friendly dinners come together in under 30 minutes.
family-friendly dinners this week
MONDAY: Hello, labor day. Need to give your annual BBQ a little punch? Try this parmesan garlic grilled corn-on-the-cob.
TUESDAY: Stir-fry is one of those perfect “kitchen sink” meals. I love this Chicken Stir Fry with Rice Noodles recipe because it’s easy-to-make, but also portable for those nights when your shuffling from soccer field to soccer field. Because soccer season has descended upon us.
WEDNESDAY: Tacos meet lettuce wraps. And the result is ah-mazing. Kid-friendly food fusion! Serve these turkey taco lettuce wraps with sliced watermelon (they’re calling for temps in the 90s on Wednesday) and a side of corn, tomato, and avocado salad.
THURSDAY: I know. “Cilantro-lime” is a flavor combo that keeps popping up on these menus. But we love it! This cilantro lime honey garlic salmon recipe bakes right in foil (hello, easy clean-up!). Serve with rice, a green salad, and sliced peaches.
FRIDAY: BBQ Chicken pizza. Because we made it to the weekend.
