It’s hard to believe that many area kids start school next week. (Next WEEK?!? Where did summer go?!?). In an effort to help you stay on top of your mom game without losing your sanity, we partnered with our friends at Eddies of Roland Park to put together 5 easy school lunches your kids will love. Emphasis on variety of flavors and ease of assembly.
You won’t find sandwich art here. We love those adorable bento box puppy dogs, but who has the time?
Not only will you find all of the ingredients for these lunches at Eddie’s, they have adorable lunch boxes, thermoses, and ice packs, too!
5 easy school lunches
MONDAY: Baby carrots and hummus, bite-sized mozzarella and tomato salad, mini cookies, apple slices and water.
TUESDAY: Nut-free butter and jelly wrap, kid-sized yogurt, orange, pretzel sticks, and milk.
WEDNESDAY: Deli turkey and cheese sandwich, mini cookies, apple slices and water.
THURSDAY: Chicken nuggets, baby carrots, pasta salad, mini cupcake and water.
FRIDAY: Sesame noodles, grapes, cheese cubes, DIY Trail Mix (a fun mixture of ancient grain Cheerios, multigrain Puffins, Craisins, sunflower seeds, Annie’s Organic Goldfish and dark chocolate chips), and water. Expert tip: use the fun bites mold to quickly cube cheese or make sandwich bites.
