Caring. Funny. Creative.

Known to friends and family as Jules or Jule Bug, Julia loves art and piano, gymnastics and softball.

The 9-year-old (who pointed out that she’ll be 10 in August) wants to be a successful and compassionate adult when she grows up. She’s inspired by her parents because they teach her ‘good lessons and are AMAZING!’ She might get a touch of her artistic flare from her mom, too, who is the creative force behind MLC Designs.

Many Sides of Me: Julia - (cool) progeny

What is Julia looking forward to this summer? Sleep away camp, being in her cousin’s wedding, and spending time with family in upstate New York. When she gets a moment to relax, she loves to curl up with a good Shel Silverstein book (yes, poetry!) or an episode of Fuller House. Favorite musicians include Hozier, Adele, Michael Jackson, and The Beatles (among “SO MANY OTHERS!”).

You might be surprised to know that her captivating dimple can’t be blamed on genetics. It was caused by a dog bite when she was younger. (Talk about a silver lining). But now it’s just as much a part of her as her ‘trendy by casual’ style. We love her style tip for other girls: be confident and comfortable in what you’re wearing.

Dimples included.
