Get your imagination geared up for a morning of FREE creative fun for the whole family! Make airplanes, shape sculptures, build boats, meet local author Joyce Hesselberth, and more. We’ve worked with the talented team at St. James Academy to create an entire design thinking-based event that will inspire pint-sized makers and inventors. (With a side of face painting, snacks, and science challenges!) Added bonus? You’ll get to meet staff from St. James Academy and experience all that the acclaimed school has to offer. But shh…. don’t tell the kids they’re learning!
EVENT UPDATE: We’re thrilled to announce that Guava Jelly, the family-friendly Pop/Rock/Reggae kindie group from Annapolis will be performing at Innovation Saturday, and we’ll be setting up a special auto engineering station, courtesy of Automoblox! We’re also thrilled to be joined by 8th grade maker/inventor Emily Schuster who is using a 3D printer to create a prosthetic hand for someone in need.
HEY SCOUTS! Guess what? Attend our Innovation Saturday and earn a super (cool) Innovation Saturday badge! Leaders, if you’re planning to bring your troop, please let us know at email@example.com and we’ll set-up a special registration for you.
The morning is FREE — but be sure to nab your family pass in advance because space is limited! You can RSVP below!
