Book Signing: Natalie Standiford
Natalie Standiford was born in Baltimore, Maryland. So were both her parents. All her grandparents were from Maryland too. Most of her family still lives in Baltimore. It’s that kind of place. First Friday at the Science Center
Every First Friday of the month from October-June the Maryland Science Center celebrates with discounted admission from 5:00-8:00pm. Admission for First Fridays includes the permanent exhibit halls, planetarium, and IMAX Theater. All visitors pay just $9 for admission during First Fridays. IMAX presentations are at 7:00pm, Planetarium presentations are at 6:00pm, and you will encounter live science during your visit. MORE

Choo Choo Soul at the B&O
For one day only the B&O Railroad Museum presents two performances by Disney Jr.’s Choo Choo Soul. Follow the musical adventures of the hip-hop singer, train station manager, Genevieve Goings, and her dancing, beatboxing engineer, DC, as they entertain kids while performing soulful and current renditions of the ABC’s and 1-2-3’s. The sweetest place to be in Harford County is the Bel Air Armory for the 15th Annual Chocolate and Candy Festival. Come meet the professional chocolatiers and satisfy your chocolate cravings! Admission for the event is just $5.00. Each paid admission will receive four FREE sample tickets allowing them to sample from our chocolatiers, candy makers, and sweet treat merchants. Great Big Animals at the BSO
Elephants, rhinos and bears, oh my! Bounce, clap and move just like these Great Big Animals with a BSO jazz quartet! Baltimore’s Child is giving parents a chance to do just that at our 2016 Camp and Summer Programs Fair at the Radisson North Baltimore, 2004 Greenspring Drive, on Sunday, March 6, noon-3 p.m. where dozens of camps will be on hand to answer your questions and offer information about their programs.
