Neighborhood Toy Store Day is THIS Saturday, November 14th. What is it? A chance to get a jump on your holiday shopping, celebrate play, and support your favorite local toy stores.

But for aMuse Toys, it’s also about giving back. It’s about celebrating community.

This Saturday, a portion of each sale at aMuse will benefit Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. Not familiar with this hidden gem? MWPH provides family-centered, integrated care to children with serious, chronic or complex medical needs. Since 1922, the hospital has helped children heal from illness and injury, and now treats more than 8,000 patients each year.

I cannot say enough good things about the care our entire family received there while Little Lion Man was inpatient at MWPH. I’m thrilled that they are the beneficiary of such a fun day of shopping — and knowing that one of our favorite local toy stores knows the importance of supporting local child-centered services makes me want to shop their even more.

Added bonus? Crazy Aaron himself (yes! the thinking putty guy!) will be at #theLab at aMuse’s Quarry Lake location. He’ll be there with the world’s only putty pulling machine and live demos of his new Make Your Own Putty Kit. Too (cool), right?  It your kiddo wants to meet Aaron, definitely register in advance.

If you’re heading to aMuse for the festivities, be sure to share your photos and hashtag them #ToyStoreDay so we can see the fun!
