Cinema al Fresco: The Wizard of Oz
Cinema al Fresco is a series of Italian-related films on Friday nights in July and August. The movies are projected on the outside wall of Ciao Bella (a restaurant at High and Stiles streets) from the third-floor window of a private home. Folding chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Live music starts at 7 p.m., movies start at 9 p.m. This week’s movie is The Wizard of Oz! Friday. MORE INFO

Unrehearsed Shakespeare at West Shore Park
The Unrehearsed Shakespeare Project presents Much Ado About Nothing at West Shore Park. This presentation of the quick-witted comedy featuring the fire-tongued duo of Benedicke and Beatrice is unrehearsed and uses the unrehearsed cue script technique. Actors will perform using cue scripts that contain only their cue lines, the words they are to speak and their entrances and exits – only the fights, songs and dances are rehearsed. This free performance promises to entertain the whole family. Artscape is America’s largest free arts festival, attracting 400,000+ attendees over three days. Artscape features 150+ fine artists, fashion designers and craftspeople; visual art exhibits on and off-site, including exhibitions, outdoor sculpture, art cars, photography and the Janet & Walter Sondheim Prize; incredible live concerts on outdoor stages; a full schedule of performing arts including dance, opera, theater, film, experimental music and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra; family events such as hands-on projects, demonstrations, competitions, children’s entertainers and street theater; and a delicious, international menu of food and beverages that is available throughout the festival site. Bubble Days at the Maryland Science Center
See the sudsiest spectacle of the summer at the Maryland Science Center’s 10th annual Bubble Days. The fun will be bubbling up all over the building—and outside too! Craft your own bubble solution and wand, create bubble art to take home, experiment with homemade bubble wands, and compete in our bubble blowing contest. Plus run, slip, and slide though our ultra-sudsy slopstacle course (weather permitting). Don’t miss world-renowned bubble artist Casey Carle who will be here to perform his fantastic BubbleMania show. Seasoned parents, come on out and share your stories about what it’s been like to raise your child in the city.  DBFA will be holding the event at the beautiful offices of RE/MAX in Fells Point.
