Slowly, but surely, we’re getting back into a routine around our house. Or maybe, since Baby M is now two months old, I should be saying we’re getting into our new routine. Lucky for me that routine includes 10-minute-power-naps-with-snuggles and “big sis” game nights. Here are five moments from the last week…

work-from-home perk

Sure, working from home can be chaotic with a five-year-old, toddler and infant. But you get to snuggle during your 10-minute afternoon power nap (instead of hide in your office).

back to the classics

Pick-up sticks. Timeless game.

What’s currently on my ‘to read’ list. Have gotten TONS of great dinner ideas from Weelicious: 140 Fast, Fresh, and Easy Recipes and can’t wait to dive into The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry: A Novel. Have heard so many great things about it!

dots and stripes

The little guy has taken to carting his stool around the house so he can reach things. It’s great for giving him a little independence while brushing his teeth. But finding him on the kitchen counter getting into the cookies? Well… as long as they’re oatmeal. (That’s healthy, right?)

coffee with

So excited about this new series — coffee with. My goal? Have coffee with 50 Baltimore moms over the next year who are doing (cool) things. And share these fabulous ladies with all of you. Here’s a peek at our first installment… {and yes, that is an ah-mazing apricot scone from The Corner Pantry.}

Thanks for taking a look! Of course, you can always tag along for the beautiful chaos of my everyday life + snapshots of (cool) progeny in action on the (cool) progeny Instagram feed. I’d love to see your five moments, too! Just hashtag them #cpfivemoments.
