Native American Cultures Celebration
Part of the Fridays after Five series at the National Aquarium! Celebrate Native American cultures with a pow-wow and story-telling featuring the Native America’s People dance troupe. Listen to the beautiful sounds of Native American flutes played by Chief Eagle Warrior, see a special exhibit of Native American tribes and birds of Maryland, and make a craft to take home. Pumpkin Chucking Weekend
In the spirit of the season, have some special fun with pumpkins!! Clark’s Ellioak Farm will have a special catapult that will launch your pumpkin across the farm. Bring your own pumpkin or use one of ours and let’s see how far it will go! C.J.’s Pit Beef, too. Wizards and Wands: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Apprentice
Calling all wizards to experience a program full of magic and whimsy! Hampden HalloweenFEST
Trick or treat along the avenue! On Saturday, November 3, 2012 is Hampden’s HalloweenFest! From 5-6 there will be trick-or-treating, sponsored by the Hampden Village Merchants Association. This will take place along W. 36th St., Falls Road., and Chestnut Ave with participating merchants. From 6-8 there will be a HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST. St. Leo Ravioli Dinner
