Johnny Appleseed Festival at Weber’s Cider Mill Farm
Each year, Weber’s Cider Mill Farm celebrates the beginning of the fall season with their annual, Johnny Appleseed Birthday Celebration on Saturday and Sunday. Lots of fun activities for the whole family! SARC’s Third Annual Rising Above It Hot-Air Balloon Festival Family Fun Day features a mix of activities including horse rides (additional fee), interactive art, scavenger hunt, moon bounces, face painting and a hare and hound hot-air balloon race at the end of the day, weather permitting. Who has the best burger in Baltimore? You decide at the 1st Annual Charm City Burger Wars on Sunday Sept 22nd. International Observe the Moon Night
NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center Visitor Center in Greenbelt, Md. will host a public event on Sept. 22 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. EDT to celebrate the inspirational power of the moon. This free event is for families with middle school aged children and older. This year’s International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) event is dedicated to astronaut Neil Armstrong.
