The long awaited solar eclipse is here.
With a narrow path of totality sweeping across the US on August 21, Baltimore observers have a chance to enjoy a partial solar eclipse. Join MSC staff on the rooftop to safely observe the Moon blocking as much as 80% of the Sun.
The Science Center have a variety of safe solar views and sun themed activities to share, enjoy and take away.
They’ll protect your eyes, but you’ll need to protect your skin — remember to apply your sunblock! (in case of inclement weather, select activities will move indoors).
This event is free with paid admission to the Maryland Science Center.
