Blackberry Picking at Hybrodima Farm
8 AM – 12 PM | Baldwin

Hybrodima Berry Farm in Baldwin is an organic berry farm that’s open for Pick-Your-Own fun on Wednesdays and Saturdays  (8AM to 3PM).  Berries are $5 per pound and organic lavender is $7 per bunch. Go in the morning and then spend the afternoon baking or making jam! MORE

Destination Doug at Play Cafe

Join Play Cafe every Wednesday at 10am for a reading adventure through some perfect picture books. Using music, movement and fingerplays and fun, this play-based program is designed for our youngest audience birth to 4 year-olds. Create the biggest burger ever using layers of paper, magazines, tape and more! AVAM’s Education staff is opening their classroom doors this July for a special session of hands-on, drop-in art making FOOD themed workshops! Drop by our classroom (2nd floor, JRVC) between 2 and 4 PM each afternoon to MAKE your own original artwork and TAKE it with you! All materials & inspiration provided! Rhythms & Reels: Trinidad & Tobago Baltimore Steel Orchestra

As part of Baltimore City Rec and Parks#RhythmsandReels series, please join them at Music at the Market, featuring Trinidad and Tobago Baltimore Steel Orchestra! The Trinidad and Tobago Baltimore Steel Orchestra was formed in 1971 by a few Trinidadians who resided in Baltimore, Maryland. Richard Semper and Paul Gervais, who are still with group today, are two of the original members. The group now has musicians performing in it representing three generations of the Semper family. Nothing beats a little time on the ice when the day is really hot! Head to the Mt. Pleasant Ice Arena for their public skate sessions Mondays – Thursdays from 12 PM – 2 PM. Admission to public skating sessions is $4.00 and skate rental costs $2.00. MORE

Futuremakers Presents Instant 3D Prints

This one of a kind, action packed 50-minute class is filled with hands-on activities geared for toddlers and preschoolers along with an accompanying adult.  Toddlers use thematic pictures to guide them through play and movement activities.  Preschoolers follow a weekly theme where storybooks come to life as we act them out. Both classes use music, puppets, creative movement, props, balls, books, parachute play, and much more! MORE

Open Play Sessions are back in #theLab at Quarry Lake.  Kiddos will enjoy playing with aMuse’s collection of award winning toys. They will have different play stations (Tegu, Brio, Smart Max & more). Get out of the house & come play in #theLabs. Groups will be moderated by one of their Play Coaches.  Adults are invited to join in or hang out in the store. All ages welcomed.
